The hotel consists of 3 buildings, the main building houses the reception, restaurant and about 70% of the rooms. There are 2 other more traditional buildings located across the street which are absolute jewels of rustic yet ornate country hotel architecture from the 18th century.
The lobby is large and simple in decor with adequate seating and has a very popular gift shop.
The hotel has a no smoking policy in place and guests can only smoke outside the building.

This hotel is located in the city centre of Laerdal and was established in 1845. It is close to the Sognefjord. The Hotel has a restaurant, a bar and a coffee shop. All 86 rooms are equipped with hairdryer.
