This historical country manor is situated amidst wonderful, rural surroundings, on the eastern fringe of the Highlands. The hotel is located on private grounds in Inverurie. Aberdeen Airport is around 30km away. Links to the public transport network can easily be reached on foot.

Built in the year 1865 and renovated in 2004, this hotel comprises a total of 27 rooms spread over 3 floors of which 25 are double rooms and 2 are suites. The main building consists of a lobby with 24-hour reception and a cosy bar offering over a hundred different types of whiskey. Throughout the house the walls are bedecked with portraits of the family who owns the property. There is also a restaurant and a public Internet terminal. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the car park or garage facilities. Finally, there are laundry and room services to round off the hotel's offerings.

built in 1480, Macdonald Pittodrie House in Aberdeenshire is one of Scotland's most historic hotels. It is set in a 2,000 acre country estate that was given to the Erskines by Robert The Bruce as a reward for their loyality and was rebuilt in 1675. Parts of the original building can still be seen including the wheel stair in the South East Re Entrant Angle, the gun loops and stone sinks and sections of the gun room. Aready one of Scotland's best known country house hotels, from the moment you arrive, the staff will make you feel as if you have returned home.
