Being an old Ottoman school, the building is very nice, painted in bright, light colours, with the typical characteristics of 19th century architecture.
The lobby is medium-sized but quite big for a special category hotel. It has a small waiting area and adjoins the garden/patio and coffee shop. It is decorated in a dark wooden style combined with continual Turkish decorative touches.
The hotel is situated in an inspiring location, directly in the heart of the Old Town, in a slightly elevated position surrounded by the most important historic and cultural sights, and with a view of the impressive Hagia Sophia museum. The most important shopping area, the harbour area and Sultanahmed Square are all easily accessible on foot. It is approximately 200 m to the tram stop Sultanahmed, and 19 km from Ataturk international airport.
This city hotel is in an historic, Ottoman building from 1854, and was renovated in 2006. It comprises 54 rooms and suites spread over 3 floors.
