a Benedectine monastery constructed in the 13th century and then used as a farmhouse for centuries, proprietors Elio and Laura Savoca have beautifully restored this ancient property into a flourishing Agriturismo. The restoration has been made to complement the traditional architecture of Gigliotto, with its expansive courtyard, arched entryways, and high beamed ceilings.

Centered around a traditional Sicilian courtyard, there are 14 warm and comfortable rooms, one of which is accessible for disable people. All rooms are furnished with Sicilian furniture, equipped with bathrooms, and with traditional ceramic tile floors made in nearby Caltagirone.

In the Sala Grande dining room that can seat up to 150 people, you can sample traditional Sicilian cuisine prepared with organic olive oil grown and made in its own frantoio and the dining experience is complemented by organic wine made from black Avola grapes in the vineyard and traditionally harvested by hand. Breakfast is served with simple, carefully chosen products .
