Hochfügen and Kaltenbach are in the immediate proximity. A ski pass gives you access to all ski lifts and buses in the valley. The whole Zillertal has ca. 600 km pistes. Other famous places in the Zillertal are Mayrhofen and Hintertux. You can even ski on the glacier in Hintertux in summer. There are lots of opportunities for day trips in the region. The capital of Tyrol. Innsbruck. with the Goldene Dachel is only 40 km away from the home. If you want to visit the fairytale castle Neuschwanstein you will get there in 1.5 hour.
