The 25-acre resort is inspired by the great Italian Renaissance period and is comprised of a 6-story main building, 2-story East and West Buildings, and a five-story west wing. There is a large freshwater pool, highlighted by a cascading waterfall that mirrors the image of Dunns River Falls.

The Deluxe Rooms are located on the first guest room level of the Florence Building. All rooms have balconies. All rooms include air conditioning, mahogany Four-Poster King size bed, amenity kit, hair dryer, telephone, Persian bed-side rugs, private marble bath and shower, electronic safe, CD clock radio players, iron & ironing boards cable T.V. coffee & tea maker, refrigerator with soft drinks and juices, and evening turndown service. Internet access available at cost (digital safety deposit boxes large enough to accommodate laptops).
Ristorante Colombo offers buffet-style breakfast with made to order items buffet-style lunch with carving stations and specialty gourmet restaurant serving Caribbean cuisine for dinner. At Ristorante Marco Polo there is a la carte breakfast and international gourmet cuisine in a very elegant atmosphere with white glove service in the evenings.
