The hotel dates back to the 19th century has been extensively modernised and converted into the fine hotel that it is today. It is situated on the fringe of the medieval market town of Kendal. Catherine's Restaurant, named after Catherine Parr, the sixth wife of Henry VIII, opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner to residents and non-residents alike offering the very best of Cumbrian cuisine, using locally sourced fresh ingredients. There are 30 rooms in total at this charming hotel. Guests are welcomed in the lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services and a hotel safe. The hotel also has wedding and conference facilities, wireless Internet access throughout and ample parking.
