The luxury accommodation is unparalleled in Edinburgh. The hotel offers double, twin and superior rooms, which include many unusual features such as canopy beds, rain baths and antique bakelite telephones. In addition, guests are able to enjoy a view of the famous, cobbled Great King Street to the front of the hotel or, from the 2nd floor, panoramic views of the Forth River and the Kingdom of Fife. All the rooms feature a TV/entertainment centre, which offers various channels. Films, from blockbusters to classics, are available on request and for an added fee. All films are loaned for a full 24 hours, whether they are started, stopped or paused, rewound or played again. The TV also includes Internet access with the keyboard enabling the option to surf the Internet. A choice of national and international radio stations are available as well as a music library and it is possible, like with a jukebox, to select it through the TV.
