The hotel dates back some 200 years as it was converted from an inn, and comprises a total of 20 rooms, of which 3 are suites. The great facilities include a comfortable lobby, a bar and a restaurant with a magnificent loch views. Coffee, drinks, snacks and light meals are served in the restaurant throughout the day. Parking is available for those arriving by car.

The double and twin rooms in the main house are a good size, and look freshly decorated with attractive furnishings, all individual in style and design. For instance, there is a particularly charming and bright room featuring a crimson red colour scheme. All rooms have armchairs, colour TV, hospitality tray with tea, coffee, shortbread and decanter of sherry, iron, trouser press, hairdryer and direct dial telephone. Bathrooms are standard size with bath and overhead shower.

A selection of outdoor sports activities are available in the hotel's surroundings. The Loch Lomond golf course is only a few minutes away. The golf course is one of Scotland's world class championship courses.

There is a wonderfully relaxing and friendly restaurant within the hotel that offers a fantastic menu.

Coming from Glasgow, follow the A 83 through Dumbarton and then follow the signs for Crainlarrach. The hotel is about 2 km behind the village of Luss. Leave the M 8 at junction 30 and drive over the Erskine Bridge, where there is a toll charge. Then take the A 82 and follow the instructions from Glasgow.
